Barbers shops make up about a third of our town's viable shops. The others are charity shops, pound shops, a couple of women's clothes shops and a few estate agents. Oh, but we do have a vaping lounge - how posh does that sound? I imagine Bryan Ferry emerging, expelling a cloud of fragrant smoke and walking away wistfully through the thronging mobility scooters, and disappearing round a corner past the pawnbrokers.
Fantastic news. Please could I order a copy of Wendy Mitchell's second book? I enjoyed her first one enormously and admire her spirit. It was also very well written 😉

Thanks Helen, and yes of course you can order What I Wish People Knew About Dementia. Will you be collecting?
Would you be able to post it? No rush. After Chistmas would be fine. Let me know how much and I'll send you the address. 🙂
Hi Helen, if you can email me your details at hello@thebookroom.uk I will organise that for you.
