What a week, I hardly know where to start, so rather then writing reams and reams, I’ll update you with a little picture diary of my week. So, where to start? Remember I was saying the other day that I needed to get my vinyl up in the windows, well this week I did it, all on my own! I had been putting it off and putting it off and trying to rope in various friends to help but, isn’t it amazing what you can achieve alone if you put your mind to it?
Barbers shops make up about a third of our town's viable shops. The others are charity shops, pound shops, a couple of women's clothes shops and a few estate agents. Oh, but we do have a vaping lounge - how posh does that sound? I imagine Bryan Ferry emerging, expelling a cloud of fragrant smoke and walking away wistfully through the thronging mobility scooters, and disappearing round a corner past the pawnbrokers.
Fantastic news. Please could I order a copy of Wendy Mitchell's second book? I enjoyed her first one enormously and admire her spirit. It was also very well written 😉
